Come along and visit our newly extended Museum & Shop at Barton Marina. You can now discover even more on two sales floors stocked with a large selection of traditional wooden toys, baby toys, Jigsaws, traditional games, nostalgic gifts for all ages, House of Marbles, Kidorable Kid’s clothing, children’s books, posters, Steiff, Merrythought & Boyds Bears, Corgi, Hornby etc, etc.

We also have our Vintage Toys Collectors Centre full of dolls , teddy bears, games, annuals, die-cast (Corgi, Dinky Matchbox etc) – All for sale!!

Our Museum is now twice as big!! Step back in time – re-live your childhood memories. Come & see our ‘real’ Dalek, plus our unique & original moving Steiff display featuring many old Steiff characters in a castle, believed to be the only one of its kind in the UK. You will also see the working Pelham Puppet Theatre, the Laughing Policeman and thousands of toys dating back to the last century including dolls, teddy bears, cars, trucks, games, annuals, comics, plus many working vintage tinplate battery operated models.

The Toys of Yesteryear Museum is also home to our reconstructed Toyshop, just as it was in the 1950′s, and ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’, a corner shop stocked with hundreds of top selling brands from the 1950′s, including your favourite sweets!!

A visit to Toys of Yesteryear is not to be missed. It’s lots of fun & educational for the little ones too.
